Terms and Conditions

1. General Terms

These terms and conditions govern the relationship between MarketDay (hereinafter "the Store") and customers (hereinafter "the Buyer") when making purchases on marketday.lv. By placing an order, the Buyer confirms they have read and agree to these terms.

2. Placing Orders

Orders can be placed by registered users. After placing an order, the Buyer will receive a confirmation email with order details. An order is considered accepted when the Store sends a confirmation.

3. Prices and Payments

All prices are shown in euros (EUR) and include value added tax (VAT) at 21%. The Store reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. The price in effect at the time of ordering will not change after confirmation. Payments are processed securely via the Stripe payment platform.

4. Delivery

Orders are delivered to the specified address or chosen parcel terminal. Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on product availability and the delivery provider. Once dispatched, the Buyer receives a tracking number by email. The Store is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.

5. Returns and Right of Withdrawal

The Buyer has the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 calendar days of receipt, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. To initiate a return, please contact us by email. Return shipping costs are the Buyer's responsibility, except where the item is defective or does not match the order.

6. Warranty

All products carry a manufacturer's warranty for the stated warranty period. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, physical damage, or external factors.

7. Personal Data

The Store collects and processes the Buyer's personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Data is used solely for order processing and customer service. Data is not shared with third parties except delivery partners. The Buyer has the right to request deletion or correction of their data.

8. Cookies

The website uses cookies to provide site functionality and analyse visitor behaviour. Visitors may opt out of analytics cookies using the cookie consent banner.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Store is not liable for losses caused by force majeure. The Store's liability in any case shall not exceed the value of the relevant order.

10. Dispute Resolution

Disputes shall be resolved through negotiation. If no agreement is reached, the Buyer may contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (CRPC) or a Latvian court. Latvian law applies to these terms.
